Then proceed to Ajloun through pine forests and olive groves to visit Anjara, the town that mentioned in the bible as a place where Jesus , his mother Mary and his disciples passed through and rested in the nearby cave . This cave has long been a holy place for pilgrims has now been commemorated with a modern shrine – Church of our lady of the mountain . Then continue to visit Tell Mar Elias ( which is associated with prophet Elijah ), it is a religious place combined two churches that were built on the hilltop during the byzantine period . Then continue southward along the Kings way one of the oldest trade routes in the world. It runs 200 miles along Jordan’s hilly backbone afterwards depart to one of the 7 wonders of the world. After Breakfast Drive Visiting Pella is a favorite of archaeologists as it is exceptionally rich in antiquities besides the excavated ruins from Graeco – Roman period, including Odeon (theatre).
